and it wasn’t bad, even if I do say so myself.

Melrose…other than a 90210 sort of thing….

a name like that does have some serious history in this region.

Melrose House is unique, certainly from a local perspective, and it sure has plenty of admirers.

New to Nelson

is this idea of completely encompassing a vessel, the “Columbus”, in all weather protection

but I suppose it does have obvious advantages.And pollen season is soon to start again too.

Big & Small – both can still exist

is a harmonic way.

As these photos show its tree ripened Golden Delicious

that are “bringing” the different sized birds together.

Just too much good kai here to worry about an argument over size.

Yes that’s right – spotted locally. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not at all suggesting the craze started in Nelson.

Can you really surf in Nelson?

Well its true you can.

But to be fair only

really at certain times,

when there is that lovely combination of ……….

moon, tides and wind.

Pretty Old I’d say

after watching a Top Gear episode a few weeks back…I’m pretty sure,…….

……. but stand to be corrected, that this was one of the oldest cars in the world.

However its quite possible that this particular one was a replica but I don’t know. It was on display, and (after a time) working too.
