The top of the top half of the South Island of New Zealand, the Nelson Bays / Golden Bay area, can indeed lay claim to that title.
In fact, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, we actually do top the lot.
Its just so neat travelling around the region, seeing how as practically all the rivers are “see-through.”
In other words, yes you can see the bottom….
……probably explained why I saw so many trout fishermen on the riverbanks this week?
