Good example here.....

.....locally of what New Zealand property buyers call....a "character home."

It can often be said….

….that I, like many others, aren’t always big fans of “big business”..

200km

but at times you do just have to pat them on their back…..

…..for the efforts they do go to, to support locals.

And the extra effort, read design logo / spend money on local adds to promote same that go with it. Kudos or “kred” to Nelson supermarket, Fresh Choice and its owner….aka…“the grocer” for highlighting the “within 200kms of here” campaign and its enlightening of the local buying populace,

Oh and BTW, back in 2009 this supermarket was the same one that was voted to have on its shelves the most Fair Trade items too.

Becalmed this afternoon…

these folks looked to be, the sun shining right into the lens has made it appear a darker day than the blue sky – no cloud one that today is.

Perhaps the main reason….

Don’t get me wrong…

The Nelson Mail published today a photo I displayed here a few days back regarding Pizza shop advertising.

Just to re-assure readers I don’t have an issue with the smaller poster size ones like you’ll see outside the Honda car showroom corner most weeknights around 5pm. No my issue was that the size was starting to border on “too big” with the one I saw that day. For some of our more chronologically challenged drivers, the mere act of throwing this into the air as they traverse the intersection, where their eyes are meant to be on other things, could just prove to be too much of a distraction. That’s my 2 cents worth.

What I believe is the…

Where was Nelson, yesterday….

Nsnmail 17th July

wowsers …… what a fog layer we had, so much so that the local paper, The Nelson Mail, even got to featuring it on todays front page

and at our “Branch/Office of the Month” breakfast this morning, I discovered

one of my colleagues has been holed up in Wellington for the last two days waiting to fly back home.

Definitely not “status usual” for Nelson.

Now that’s what I call

foldup. Obviously a transportable bicycle, quite a common item around town, suspect its courtesy of one of the many yachts berthed at the haven.

How much bigger can they get…?
