Work Happens…

..well in Australasia's largest fishing port

there is just so much happening, especially when one of these

larger beasts show up on the slipway. They don’t want to be there for long…

…surely…as “time is money when you are this size. So Nelson, Port Nelson does its bit…to get them back out to sea as quick as is safely possible.

this morning….10th June 2014….well because as it could just as well as happened…

…one seriously lucky young man this morning…

…this morning that he might not have been home tonight ... but for someone driving cautiously…and sort of expecting the stupid things kids do!

I think, from memory, it is until they are 21 that they are invincible!!! Very near miss and the video does not do justice to how close I was and had to slam on the brakes! He just kept on biking - didn’t even see me…and I’m not even driving a Prius!

The sun does arrive a bit late…

…this time of the year…..but then again at least you are up to appreciate it.
